Don’t become weary…

So, before I got to Iowa this year(about a month ago), I was given this scripture by a stud for God, Galatians 6: 9.  It says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”  That lights my fire every time I read it.  How can I become complacent in sharing my faith and doing work for God after reading that and having that knowledge???  Or Philippians 1: 13, which talks about being in chains for Christ.  That each and every day, no matter how I feel when I wake up, to know that I have been saved by God’s amazing grace becuase I can’t and never will do anything to deserve it!  That should leave me with such a state of joy that I cannot help but go out and love on people for Jesus.

Livin’ the dream…

I am currently in Iowa going to a junior college out here (Des Moines Area Community College).  I have only been out here for about a month or little more, and I have loved every minute of it.  The game of baseball and a strong push from the Lord is what brought me out here.  I will only be out here for a year, so I feel led to blow it out for the short amount of time I have here!  Some things that are goin’ on with me…

• playin ball obviously
• doing a Bible study with some studs
• going to class(always a good time)
• hanging out with the guys on the team every other minute!

How is that not livin’ the dream right there?

I have been readin’ my boy b-coops blog lately and I must say it got me interested!  His blog is at “bradcooper.us”.  Good stuff check it out sometime!  Anyways I am going to try and write on here just about everyday.  Hopefully it will be about something that will engage some interaction with people!
